Parents are provided opportunities during the school year to network with
other parents at their campus and in the district. C-FB AGT speaker forums
also provide an avenue to gain information on parenting, education and
advocacy for gifted children.
Future plans include providing an introductory guide to parents of newly identified students.
C-FB AGT members have access to an assortment of books, magazines and videos on parenting, educating and advocating for gifted children. These resources are available through Advanced Academic Services in the Technology and Learning Center.
Visit AAS in room 116 of the Technology and Learning Center at 2427 Carrick St. in Farmers Branch. Hours are Monday - Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented (TAGT) is an organization of educators and parents dedicated to meeting the unique needs of gifted and talented students.
