iamgoingtocollege.com
Developed by an elementary school counselor, this web site dispels the myth that parents cannot afford college or higher education for their K-12 children.
Parents are provided opportunities during the year to network with other parents at their campus and in the district. Speaker forums also provide an avenue to gain information on parenting, education and advocacy for gifted children. Future plans include providing an introductory guide to parents of newly identified students.
Material Resources
The City of Carrollton and the City of Farmers Branch have online catalogs to search for items by author, title and subject.
