Association for the

Gifted and Talented

Membership in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Association for the Gifted and Talented (C-FB AGT) is open to all persons interested in gifted education.  The Association membership year runs from August 1, 2006, through July 31, 2007.

Membership

Annual membership dues are $20.00 per family. $10.00 for reduced lunch families.

 

C-FB AGT uses the dues collected to fund the following activities:

 

¨ Hosting speakers knowledgeable in education for the gifted,

¨ Maintaining  the Association website,

¨ Co-sponsoring an annual symposium for parents, educators and friends of the gifted,

¨ Acquiring parent resources,

¨ Maintaining membership in the Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented (TAGT) and the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC),

¨ Funding the registration fee for representatives to attend the TAGT Annual Professional Development Conference to gain additional information for dissemination to our members,

¨ Providing scholarships for identified gifted students to attend summer programs, and

¨ Printing and distributing informational materials.

Dues
